CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - In 2021, Franklin County (PA) District Attorney Matt Fogal agreed to serve as an active member of the Executive Board of the Joint Terrorism Task Force, headquartered at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (“FBI”) Field Office in Philadelphia.

“The priority of the FBI is to protect our citizens and our Nation from terrorist acts,” said D.A. The Franklin County District Attorney’s Office partners with our brothers and sisters in local municipal law enforcement agencies, the Pennsylvania State Police and our federal partners at the FBI, to collaboratively stand vigilant and with utter resolve to protect all of our citizens from violent criminal threats. As we do so, we ask that the public likewise remains vigilant and dedicated to each other’s safety. Remain aware of your surroundings. Refrain from oversharing personal information. Say something if you see something suspicious. Maintain digital media literacy to recognize and build resilience to false and harmful narratives and disinformation. If you know someone who is struggling with mental health issues or may be a danger to themselves or others, please seek help for that person. Together, we always prevail, and we are more determined than our foreign and domestic enemies.

One Team, One Fight.
