Franklin County Public Defender’s Office Relocates To Historic Courthouse

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. – The Franklin County Public Defender’s Office is now located in the county’s historic courthouse at 2 N. Main St., Chambersburg. The office was previously located in the adjacent Courthouse Annex.

 

To access the public defender’s office, visitors must enter through the Franklin County Judicial Center, first passing through security before heading to the second floor and using the catwalk to access the historic courthouse. Visitors can then either use the elevator or stairs to reach the public defender’s office on the first floor. The Franklin County Public Defender’s Office is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
