County Administration Welcomes New Communications Coordinator

Franklin County Administration welcomes Julia Lehman to a new position as Communications Coordinator.

Franklin County Administration welcomes Julia Lehman to her new position as Communications Coordinator.  In her role, she will meet with various departments to learn about operations and identify ways she can support efforts to communicate services to Franklin County residents.  She is also responsible for coordinating internal, external and crisis communications. 

Julia has worked with the county as the Grants and Criminal Justice Advisory Board Coordinator since 2015.  She played a vital part in writing and managing numerous grants.  She also helped to guide the strategic planning process for the Franklin County Criminal Justice Advisory Board and the Franklin Together Reentry Coalition. In February, she received the SERVICE Values Award for Visibility for demonstrating the honest exchange of ideas and information with the public and her co-workers.

Prior to joining the county, Julia worked as a marketing coordinator and social media manager and comes into this position with over 8 years of experience coordinating communications for small businesses and community organizations. She is committed, both personally and professionally, to community-building initiatives and sees this new position as an opportunity to combine her experience and passion to better serve the residents of Franklin County.
