We are looking for someone who will be responsible for responding to issues arising with the use of computer workstations and printers throughout the County. As such, they must troubleshoot and resolve these problems, as they occur, in a timely fashion. Additionally, they are responsible for tracking these issues and their subsequent resolutions. They will also be responsible for installation, upgrade, and maintenance of County workstations and printers, allowing minimal impact on the users. Requirements
High School diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED). Two (2) years of post-High School technical training. Minimum two (2) years’ experience in desktop support on modern operating systems preferred; or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience. Must possess a sound working knowledge of computer operating systems. Basic understanding of network systems. Able to communicate effectively. Exercise sound judgment in analyzing, appraising, evaluating, and solving problems of a technical nature. Willingness to travel as needed to carry out essential job duties.
