We are looking for someone to carry out duties and responsibilities of the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office by performing the enforcement and protective duties of the Courts, acting under the direct orders of the Sheriff or Chief Deputy Sheriff. The position of Deputy Sheriff is a law enforcement position requiring advanced education and/or experience and training. A Deputy Sheriff is a sworn law enforcement officer charged to uphold the laws of the County of Franklin, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the United States of America.

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent, plus some additional law enforcement and computer training recommended. Must be able to obtain, and maintain Deputy Sheriff Act 2 certification or waiver, and complete required training every two years. Prior experience in law enforcement or a legal/judicial environment preferred.
