Douglas Wilburne Named Chief Adult Probation Officer

The Board of Judges for the 39th Judicial District is pleased to announce that Douglas Wilburne has been named Chief Adult Probation Officer for the 39th Judicial District, Franklin County Branch as of October 3rd, 2019.

The Board of Judges for the 39th Judicial District is pleased to announce that Douglas Wilburne has been named Chief Adult Probation Officer for the 39th Judicial District – Franklin County Branch as of October 3rd, 2019.  Chief Wilburne holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Shippensburg University and has been a valued employee since 2007 earning his way to his new position after serving the Courts as a Probation Officer with Juvenile and Adult probation, as Pre-release Unit Supervisor for the adult division, as Deputy Chief of Adult Probation, and most recently the acting Chief of Adult Probation.  Chief Wilburne’s broad knowledge of all aspects of probation, combined with his skills and abilities, will continue to serve the courts, county, clients, and the public well.
