The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office will offer extended weekend hours on select Saturdays in 2025 to allow residents a greater opportunity to obtain their concealed carry permits. The office will be open 8:30 a.m. to noon on the following dates:

Saturday, February 15
Saturday, April 5
Saturday, July 12
Saturday, October 4

The sheriff’s office will accept and issue previously approved concealed carry permits on these days. Same-day applications and issuances are possible, but not guaranteed.
