Annual Franklin County Veterans’ Expo set for November 1st

The Franklin County Commissioners invite the public to the 5th Annual Veterans Expo. The free event will be held at the Chambersburg Mall in the old Burlington Coat Factory store on Friday, November 1, 2019 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.

The Franklin County Commissioners invite the public to the 5th Annual Veterans’ Expo. The free event will be held at the Chambersburg Mall in the former Burlington Coat Factory store on Friday, November 1, 2019 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

“This event has really grown and is reaching more veterans every year,” said Commissioner Chairman Dave Keller. “We encourage all Franklin County veterans and their families to attend.”

Over 65 vendors will be in attendance, including representatives from Martinsburg Vet Center, the Pennsylvania Department of Military and Veteran Affairs and local veteran service organizations, to assist veteran attendees. A light breakfast and full lunch will be provided. The CASHS Choristers are scheduled to perform for lunchtime entertainment and the Lowe’s Heroes Save-A-Vet, Save-A-Pet Kennel Build project will also be unveiled.

Attendees are asked to enter the mall through Entrance 1 or 5.
