Overview
The Franklin County Grants Management department is available to help county agencies and eligible non-profit organizations research, screen, develop, edit, apply for and manage a successful grant.
Mission
The Franklin County Grants Management Department partners with all county offices, especially Franklin County Human Services Administration and the Criminal Justice Advisory Board, as well as school districts, mental health providers and local non-profit organizations to help improve the quality of programs and services in Franklin County.
Services Offered
The Franklin County Grants Management Department is available to help county agencies and eligible non-profit organizations research, screen, develop, edit, apply for and manage a successful grant. The department is also responsible for the application process for some of the county-issued requests for proposals.
Quality Assurance
The Grants Management Department supports the overall development, evaluation and growth of the county’s various departments, including program performance and quality improvement. In this capacity, the department assists with work focusing on growth, development, data/information, grants, evaluation, quality assurance and provider monitoring.
Regulation and Oversight
The Grants Management Department is overseen by the Franklin County Commissioners through the county administrator. Grant-funded programs are monitored by individual grant makers.
Although homebuyer and/or individual grants are not within the Franklin County Grants Department scope of work, local organizations such as Pathstone Corporation PA or PA Housing Finance Agency may be of assistance.
