What We Do
The Office of Veterans Affairs is a local county office, accredited with the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs through the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Veterans Affairs staff performs a number of key functions, including:
- Information on federal, state and county benefits and resources
- Submission and appeals of benefit claims
- Veteran temporary assistance
- Health care information and enrollment assistance
- Outreach programs such as community events, peer services and a service dog program
- Information and support for justice-involved veterans
