Employee Spotlights

Franklin County Values Service

At Franklin County, SERVICE stands for Stewardship, Employees, Responsiveness, Visibility, Integrity, Continuous Improvement and Engagement. Each year, employees nominate coworkers for these awards based on their performance throughout the previous year. The county’s Division Leaders then vote on the nominations, and recipients are honored each March on Employee Appreciation Day.

Congratulations to Franklin County’s 2023 SERVICE Values recipients!

Community Hero

Each year, the county recognizes a Community Hero. This honor is presented to an employee who has gone above and beyond the call of duty to improve or save the lives of Franklin County residents.

Congratulations to Payden Miller, a 911 telecommunicator with the Franklin County Department of Emergency Services, on receiving the 2023 Community Hero Award!

Years Of Service

Each fall, the Franklin County Commissioners, President Judge Shawn Meyers, and County and Court Administration recognize and honor those employees who have achieved career milestones working with the county.

In 2024, 74 employees reached career milestones, spanning five to 45 years of service to Franklin County.
