Volunteer

A variety of opportunities are available to persons willing to give of their time. Volunteers are needed to deliver meals, make visits to individuals in the community and at facilities, assist at senior activity centers with the art and craft classes, and counsel Medicare beneficiaries. You could volunteer one of the following programs:

Ombudsman Program

Ombudsmen are community neighbors who are specially trained to answer and resolve the problems that people experience in the long term care system.
Volunteer Ombudsmen complement the Pennsylvania Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program through their local Agency on Aging.
