Local Fruit and Vegetables Available to Franklin County Seniors
The USDA Pennsylvania Farmers Market Nutrition Program provides low-income seniors with a way to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables from participating local farmers.

The USDA Pennsylvania Farmers Market Nutrition Program provides low-income seniors with a way to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables from participating local farmers. Income-qualified* Franklin County citizens who are at least 60 years old can receive $20 in vouchers to be redeemed for local produce. The food vouchers may be picked up at the Area Agency on Aging Office and will be distributed on a first come-first serve basis until funds are expended.
Vouchers can be used at the following participating farmers’ markets:

- Benedicts Produce, 3766 Brechbill Loop Rd, Chambersburg
- Campus Farm Market, 1015 Philadelphia Ave, Chambersburg
- C&R Produce, 9823 Lincoln Way West, St. Thomas
- Cheesetown Produce Farm, 2567 Edenville Rd, Chambersburg
- Country Creek Produce, 2106 Lincoln Way, Chambersburg
- Frieses Orchard, 7283 Ft. McCord Rd, Chambersburg
- Jims Farm Market, 255 Grant Street, Chambersburg
- Maplewood Farm Market, 8564 Old Scotland Rd, Shippensburg
- North Square Farmers Market, North Main Street, Chambersburg
- Paul’s Country Market, 6374 Nunnery Rd, Waynesboro

*Income qualifications are as follows:
Household Income for one person is $23,107.00 or lower
Household income for a 2 person household is $31,284.00 or lower
Household income for a 3 person household is $39,461.00 or lower
Household income for a 4 person household is $47,638.00 or lower
Household income for a 5 person household is $55,815.00 or lower
Household income for a 6 person household is $63,992.00 or lower
