Commissioners
November 13, 2020
The Franklin County Commissioners proudly present May’s Employee of the Month award to Ms. Tiffany Bloyer.
Ms. Bloyer has been employed with Franklin County for over 9 years, with a short break in service at the end of 2017. She currently serves as the Human Resources Director and Division Leader extraordinaire. The selection for the May 2020 Employee of the Month was determined by the STAR Committee. There were a total of fifteen nominations which include the following reasons for recommendation:
“I am recommending Tiffany for Employee of the Month for her dedication to the employees of Franklin County, especially during the pandemic. She has been putting in between 10-12 hour days and working through the weekends to ensure that the best decisions are being made for the employees. Tiffany has gone above and beyond to ensure the employees affected by the furlough have the information that they need to file benefits, and if they have questions, they can reach out to her to assist them through the process. There are not many companies who are doing this for their employees, and this is just one of the many things that Tiffany has done to assist in this difficult time.”
“The true grit of a leader is defined not by how they perform during good times, but how they roll up their sleeves during times of difficulty. She has kept not only her staff, but others calm during this difficult time, while reassuring that we will all get through this together. Tiffany utilizes her passion and positive attitude to motivate and energize employees to move forward, especially in troubling times.”
Ms. Bloyer’s outstanding characteristics are attributes that have not gone unnoticed by her peers. The nomination form describes her as a faithful leader, with integrity and dedication to the entire workforce.
We are grateful to Ms. Tiffany Bloyer as she exudes a high standard of customer service, excellence, and respect to the employees and residents of Franklin County.
