Keith Named Franklin County’s November Employee Of The Month

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. – The Franklin County Commissioners proudly presented the November 2023 Employee of the Month award to Amanda Keith during the board’s Nov. 29 public meeting. Keith has been employed by Franklin County since July 2022 and serves as an aging care supervisor with the Franklin County Area Agency on Aging.
November’s Employee of the Month recipient was determined by the Special Thanks and Recognition (STAR) Committee, which received nine nominations for the November award, four of which were for Keith.
“Mandy has simply been a great asset to the Aging Department,” said one nomination. “She has been a wonderful supervisor to me. She is always willing to help. She is compassionate and understanding. She is fair and she is always available for her staff. Mandy taught me so much and has been very willing to take the time to ensure that I understand the components of my job, which, in turn, gives me the confidence to excel in my position and perform well.”
“Mandy is a great asset to our team at Aging,” said another coworker. “She has worked hard with her team in the OPTIONS department to provide great service to the consumers we serve. Mandy has brought together an already great team and helped make them stronger. She takes pride in the work she does and that shows through every day.”
Keith’s outstanding characteristics are attributes that have not gone unnoticed by her peers. Colleagues describe her as dedicated, positive, compassionate, empathetic, kind, supportive, calm and a leader.
The Franklin County Commissioners congratulated Keith on her recognition and thanked her for her excellent work and for exuding such a high standard of knowledge, leadership and excellence to the employees and residents of Franklin County.
