This specialized supervision is for juveniles who have moderate to severe mental health issues and are under the jurisdiction of Franklin County Juvenile Probation Department. The specialized supervision is to aid the families in dealing with mental health agencies to ensure that appropriate services are put in place. This is to prevent recidivism and reduce the need for residential placement through the effective empowerment of the child and family in their home, school, and community.

Franklin County JUMP is committed to providing specialized, community based services to youth and (their families). This specialized supervision focuses on family preservation and the reduction of out-of-home placements through the use of Balanced and Restorative Justice Principles, evidence based practices and standards associated with CASSP.
