Program Description

Franklin County Human Services Resources and LINK Access Services are available to anyone seeking information regarding the available human services in Franklin County. Human Services Resources and LINK Access is a resource intended for public use. Individuals who are uncertain of how to access the information or services that they desire are encouraged to contact us. If the desired information is not directly at hand, Human Services Resources and LINK Access will actively research and respond to the inquiry as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Services

Most individuals receive information and referral assistance via the telephone or the computer. Their needs may span the spectrum of human experiences from prenatal planning to financial assistance, housing, assistance for a funeral and all life moments, both major and minor, as well as in-between. Individuals speak with a trained, empathetic Human Services Resources and LINK Access coordinator, who assess their needs in a non-threatening, non-judgmental and confidential manner to help them make informed decisions about possible solutions. The Human Services Resources and LINK Access coordinator will assist those who are in urgent situations, and most significantly, advocate on behalf of those individuals who need additional support.
