NOTICE: Commissioners Consider Ordinance
Notice is hereby given that the Franklin County Commissioners will consider adoption of an Ordinance at their regularly scheduled meeting to be held on June 13, 2019.
Notice is hereby given that the Franklin County Commissioners, at their regularly scheduled meeting to be held on June 13, 2019, will consider adoption of an Ordinance authorizing an exercise of eminent domain as may be necessary to implement the project known as Bridge 121 – Heisey Road Bridge. The proposed ordinance authorizes the County Solicitor to file a Declaration of Taking of permanent and temporary construction easements, authorizes proper county officials to execute any documents necessary to effect the taking of the easements pursuant to Pennsylvania Eminent Domain Code and enter into agreements with owners, as may be necessary. The proposed ordinance incorporates an exhibit detailing the required easements.
The full text of the proposed ordinance to be voted on by the Franklin County Commissioners shall be available for review at the offices of the Record Herald, 30 Walnut Street, Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, the Franklin County Law Library, 100 Lincoln Way East, Suit E., Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, and at the Offices of the Franklin County Commissioners, 340 North Second Street, Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. The ordinance is also available on the county website: www.franklincountypa.gov.
