2021 Franklin County Nursing Scholarship
The 2021 Franklin County Nursing Scholarship is currently open to all high school seniors living and attending high school for at least 1 consecutive year in Franklin County, and who have been accepted into an accredited four-year nursing program. The deadline for applying is Thursday, March 25, 2021 at 4:30pm.
Applicants are required to include essays, briefly indicating their short and long term goals, as they pertain to nursing school.
Letters of recommendation are required of each applicant’s high school Guidance Counselor, as well as two other adults. Every applicant is also required to submit a copy of their official transcript. A stronger consideration will be given to students requiring financial assistance.
There is an extraordinary demand for skilled nurses in the area. Since 2017, six $2,500.00 nursing scholarships have been awarded to deserving area high school seniors who are pursuing a career in nursing. Funds were directly applied toward tuition and/or room & board, per the student's request.
These scholarships are non-renewable.
