Public Notice – County Accepting Sealed Bids for Chain-Link Fencing, Aluminum Cable Track

Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Franklin County Commissioners Office, ATTN: Christina Daywalt, 272 N. Second St., Chambersburg, PA 17201, for the sale of construction chain-link fencing and aluminum cable track.

Sealed bids will be received until 3 p.m. prevailing time on Tuesday, September 7, 2021. All bids so received will be publicly opened and read on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at 11 a.m. at the Franklin County Commissioners’ Board Meeting, 272 N. Second St., Chambersburg, PA 17201.

Bids can be made on the entire lot or individual items. An award will be made to the highest and best bid(s). Forms for submitting your bid(s) are available on the County’s website,

www.franklincountypa.gov, or by contacting the Commissioners’ Office at 717-261-3818.

An inspection of these items can be conducted by contacting Steve Rock at 717-709-7220 to set up an appointment. The item(s) can be picked up by the successful bidder(s) by contacting Steve Rock.

The Franklin County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any or all defects, errors, omissions, irregularities or informalities in any bid.
