2022 General Primary Election Recount Notification
The Franklin County Board of Elections will reconvene on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at 9 a.m. in the multi-purpose room of the Franklin County Administration Annex, 218 N. Second St., Chambersburg, to begin to conduct the statewide mandatory recount of votes cast in the General Primary Election held May 17, 2022 for the position of United States Senator on the Republican ticket.
Pursuant to 25 P.S. § 3154, "A candidate affected by the recount and recanvass may be present, in person or by attorney, at the recount and recanvass. A party or body affected by the recount and recanvass may send two representatives to the recount and recanvass."
