Commissioners Collaborate to Bring Community Vaccination Clinic to Franklin County

The Franklin County Commissioners are collaborating with WellSpan Health to open a community vaccination clinic. Plans for the clinic are being finalized and a location will be announced later this month.  Accessibility, availability, access to public transportation to/from the site, and parking are just some of the factors considered for choosing a location.

“A community vaccination clinic will provide easier access to vaccines for all Franklin County residents,” said Commissioner Chairman Dave Keller. “We’re fortunate to have the partnership of our local healthcare system as we work together to mitigate the COVID-19 pandemic,” he added.

“This clinic is an effort toward putting the pandemic behind us. It will help to give our residents peace of mind,” said Commissioner John Flannery.
