Franklin County Launches Business Parks Resource

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. – The Franklin County Commissioners are pleased to announce a new website application that highlights the county’s six business parks and provides helpful information for any business looking to expand within or move into Franklin County.

The app, available at, was prepared by the Franklin County GIS department in conjunction with the Franklin County Area Development Corporation. An interactive map allows users to dive deeper into data for each business park, including drive times from Interstate 81 and the Pennsylvania Turnpike as well as parcel-specific information such as occupants, business sectors and the number of employees for each occupant. The app also provides demographic information and employment data for Franklin County municipalities.

“There are a wide range of factors that make Franklin County an ideal location for business development and growth, including our business parks and a workforce with a great work ethic,” said Franklin County Commissioner Chairman Dave Keller. “This new app puts much of the relevant data that employers and potential developers seek into one location and in a format that’s easy to analyze and understand. It’s also a great resource for helping to promote the county to new industries and employment opportunities.”
