To ensure the safety and security of buildings and grounds for County employees and the general public. The position of Security Officer is a law enforcement position requiring advanced education and/or experience and training. A Security Officer is a sworn law enforcement officer charged with the security and protection of buildings under the control of the County of Franklin.
Requirements include:
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Must successfully complete two week basic training class involving the following topics: Firearms, Defensive Tactics, other job related duties and competencies. Must possess or acquire training in CPR and First Aide.
