To conduct audits of County offices and departments, and to make recommendations to protect assets and optimize efficiency by ensuring compliance with internal control procedures, accounting standards, and various regulations. Acts as liaison between County Controller's office and external auditors.
Requirements include:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, finance, business administration preferred. 1-2 years working experience, in government, finance or accounting background. OR, any equivalent combination of experience/training. CPA or CIA certification preferred.
