Verifying Voter Registration Status, Polling Place Location Ahead Of April 23 Primary Election

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. – Do you know where your polling place is located? Are you still considered an active voter? Voters who are unsure of these answers can verify this information online through the statewide SURE Public Portal.

Voters can visit www.pavoterservices.pa.gov and click on the Find Voter Registration
Status link to search for their voter registration status (active or inactive), party affiliation and polling place address.

The deadline to register to vote or to make any changes to your registration (name,
address or party affiliation) for the April 23 Presidential Primary was April 8. If a voter’s information shows an outdated name or address after the April 8 deadline, by law voters can return to their old polling place and vote for one election. While at the polling place, voters can ask the Judge of Election for the proper form to update their name and/or address for the next election. Once the Franklin County Voter Registration Office processes the request, the voter will be mailed a new registration card reflecting the updated information and polling place location.

Any questions concerning the upcoming election should be directed to the Franklin
County Voter Registration Office at 717-261-3886 or the Franklin County Election Board at 717-261-3812. Additional election and voter registration information is available on the county’s website, www.franklincountypa.gov.
